Refined bitumen is a hydrocarbon product produced through the refining of suitable crude oils. A variety of different refining methods produce different kinds of bitumen and allow the manufacturer to produce bituemn with specific characteristics. The producers often blend
multiple crude oils together to produce consistent, high-quality bitumen that meets the precise engineering specifications. Bitumen literally grounds our daily lives in the shape of roads, pavements, runways, and more.
Worldwide some 100 million tons are produced and used each year. Predominantly used in the road surfacing industry today, 85% of global bitumen production is consumed in the construction and maintenance of roads. The remaining 15% of bitumen production is used in other applications such as roofing, sealing and for insulating purposes.

BULK
With reliability, experience and speed, bulk delivery (in tankers) is our main delivery method in the local market and allows us to guarantee our customers an efficient service for all our manufactured and commercialised products.
Likewise, Nuroil has sufficient capacity and experience for maritime transport, especially with deliveries of large quantities of bitumen to
marine terminals internationally using the bulk tanker vessels of size ranging from 1000 to 10,000 Metric Ton
DRUM
The main advantages of delivery in drums are the possibility to maintain ample stocks and the ease of handling both in transit and at the destination.
This method of packaging is well suited to long distance transport, as between 16 and 20 metric tons of any of the products can be stored in a standard 20-foot container, depending on the type of drum.
